How Progress in Human Genome Research Will Impact Personalized Medicine

Description

Personalized medicine has the potential to transform cancer care through earlier diagnosis, more effective prevention and treatment of all types of cancer, and the avoidance of side effects associated with treatment modalities. This program will describe the human genome research being performed in the laboratory and will reveal how it may directly relate to you or someone you love if diagnosed.
