DescriptionAcupuncture has been used in the United States for many years as a treatment for chronic muscle pain. Only recently has it been tried as a remedy for other types of pain, including cancer pain. Cancer patients who are not getting enough pain control from conventional medications may be able to find relief in this ancient Chinese practice. Join us for a discussion about the history of acupuncture and the benefits of using acupuncture while being treated for cancer. Lunch will be provided after the program. In collaboration with the Office of Business Affairs at Woodhull Medical Center North Brooklyn Health Network. Speaker
